Biography

Sophie Cates is a writer, producer and artist based in LA. Recently she's been spending more time focused as a songwriter and her discography already includes Lauv, Flume, Snakehips, and more. Recently she co-wrote two songs “Dance Around It” and “Reading Into It” from Aiden Bisset's album shut up and love me. As well as co-writing “Stupid” by the Two Lips and “Before and After” by Ally Sallort. Sophie has upcoming releases with Joji, Khalid, Jeremy Zucker, ILLIT and the Two Lips. Other collaborators include Ryan Tedder, Channel Tres, Monsters + Strangers, Oscar Scheller, Aldae, Zhone and more.
