Biography

Josh Mehling is a producer, songwriter, and artist splitting time between Los Angeles and New York. A true musical chameleon who effortlessly moves between projects and genres. Josh is one-fourth of the band Shelly (with Clairo, Claud, and Noa Getzug), who first formed in college and went viral after dropping just two singles — now sitting at over 100 million streams. To celebrate their five-year anniversary, the band reunited and released two new tracks, both co-written and co-produced by Josh. Beyond Shelly, Josh co-wrote and co-produced Romy Mars’ breakout single “A-Lister” and is helping shape her upcoming project. Most recent releases include “Coldplay” by Coco & Clair Clair and “You Ruined Paris” by Susannah Joffe. Lately, you’ll find him in the studio working with girl in red, Claire Rosinkranz, Mother Soki, Adam Melchor, Hannah Jadagu, Blu DeTiger, Julip, Susannah Joffe, The Two Lips, Claud, and more.
