James Essien is a London-born songwriter and producer who splits his time between London and Los Angeles. His recent work includes three songs on BTS’ chart-topping comeback album ARIRANG, including the lead single “Swim”. Additional cuts include “Hotel California” and “Blah Blah” by Joji, “Die For Me” by Zayn, “Need Your Love” by OneRepublic, “Keeper”, “I Can Tell”, “Good Bad Ugly” by Giveon, “Back to You” by Tyla, “Rockstar” by LISA, “Back to Blonde” by Sienna Spiro and many more. James has worked alongside some of today’s most influential artists and creators, including Ellie Goulding, Daniel Seavey, Khalid, Ryan Tedder, Amy Allen, Jasper Harris, Diplo, OjiVolta, Teezo Touchdown and more.
