James Essien is a London born songwriter and producer based in Los Angeles. Recently, he co-wrote “Hotel California” from Joji and “Die For Me” by Zayn. He also co-wrote “Keeper,” “I Can Tell” and “Good Bad Ugly” from Giveon’s album BELOVED. He contributed to “Back To You” from Tyla’s album Tyla+ and he co-wrote “Rockstar” and “Lifestyle” from LISA’s debut album Alter Ego as well as “Back to Blonde” with Sienna Spiro. Other recent collaborators include Ryan Tedder, Amy Allen, Jasper Harris, Diplo, OjiVolta, Teezo Touchdown and more.
