James Essien is a London born songwriter and producer who travels between London and Los Angeles. He recently co-wrote “Keeper,” “I Can Tell” and “Good Bad Ugly” from Giveon’s album 'BELOVED' as well as contributing to “Back To You” from Tyla’s album 'Tyla+'. Previously, he co-wrote “Rockstar” and “Lifestyle” from LISA’s debut album 'Alter Ego' as well as “Back to Blonde” with Sienna Spiro. Other recent collaborators include Ryan Tedder, Amy Allen, Jasper Harris, Diplo, OjiVolta, Teezo Touchdown and more.
